The MOC306X-M devices consist of a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon detector performing the function of a zero voltage crossing bilateral triac driver. They are designed for use with a triac in the interface of logic systems to equipment powered from 115/240 VAC lines, such as solid state relays, industrial controls, motors, solenoids and consumer appliances, etc.
The MOC3061M is a 6-Pin DIP 600V zero crossing triac driver output optocoupler. It’s a single channel optocoupler with a maximum operating temperature of 85 degrees Celsius. The MOC3061M has a high isolation voltage of 5250 Vrms. This coupler has a maximum input current of 60 mA.The MOC3061M can be used in an array of applications such as: Solenoid/valve controls, static power switches, AC motor starters/drives, lighting controls, solid state relays, and temperature controls.
