(Hereinafter Toray) announced followings about Nylon resin Amilan and PBT resin TORAYCON (Hereafter Applicable materials) that were improperly identified as receiving certification from Underwriters Laboratories, a third-party safety science organization in the United States (hereinafter, "UL"). We are writing to inform you of the impact on our products. 1 Announcement from Toray As a result of discussions between UL and Toray regarding the handling of UL certified applicable materials, Toray received the following conclusion from UL. (1) For all applicable materials for which inappropriate actions were made in FUS (follow-up service) in the past, it has been decided that the existing UL certification registration continues as it is. (2) Even for grades for which inappropriate actions were not made, UL certification registration continues as it is.
