General Product Description:Mezalok connectorsDescription of ChangeChanging the .36 dimension on the customer drawings to .23 +/-.13. This dimension depicts the distance between the tip of the solder balls and the standoffs on the bottom of the connector. The old dimension did not take into account the deformation of the solder balls during their attachment to the connector contacts. We have conducted a soldering test on specimens on the lower end of this new tolerance range and found that the parts adhere acceptably to the PCB solder pads. We have also begun 100% screening for this dimension, in addition to the coplanarity checks we already perform.
