Like the very popular IHLP series, the IHLM series features lower DCR values than other conventional solutions. They are packaged in a 100% lead-free, shielded, composite construction that reduces noise buzz to ultra-low levels. They also handle high transient current spike without saturation.
However, a molded construction gives IHLM devices a higher dielectric withstanding voltage that allows for enhanced protection against electrical shock. Their mold provides a fire retardant, corrosion resistant package.
Resistant to moisture, salt and chemicals, IHLM devices perform reliably in automotive applications and other extreme environments. Other end products for these inductors include next generation mobile communications devices, computers and servers. The devices will also be widely used in fixed-telecom power supplies, including point of load (POL) and distributed power systems.
