High-efficiency 5A DC-DC power conversion with low EMI

Diodes Incorporated's AP64501 synchronous buck converter delivers efficient step-down power conversion for industrial, consumer, and networking applications. Supporting a wide 3.8V to 40V input voltage range and up to 5A continuous output current, the device integrates high- and low-side MOSFETs to reduce external component count while simplifying power supply design.

Optimized for low electromagnetic interference (EMI), the AP64501 combines a proprietary gate driver architecture with Frequency Spread Spectrum (FSS) technology to minimize switching noise without compromising efficiency. Low quiescent current and light-load efficiency further make it an excellent choice for always-on and energy-conscious applications.
