Hirose Electric offers the BM29 series, the smallest hybrid board-to-FPC connector in the industry with its highly reliable two-point contact design and a 20% reduction in size compared to previous Hirose Electric hybrid board-to-FPC connectors.

With a robust metal lock for a strong mating force, the BM29 series connectors handle design flexibility of today’s mobile devices with ease. BM29 connectors feature a 0.35mm pitch, a depth of just 1.5mm and 0.5mm of stacking height. Hirose Electric BM29 hybrid board-to-FPC connectors provide 3A max current for power, 0.3A for signal and a temperature range of -40 to +85ºC.

For secure mating, the Hirose Electric BM29 series features a two-point contact design in addition to reliable and robust metal guides that prevent housing damage and resist intense vibrations or drop impact. The guide ribs of these Hirose Electric connectors ensure correct alignment with up to 0.3mm in the X direction and 0.24mm in the Y direction.
