The AR0246, part of onsemi's Hyperlux LH product family, is an innovative 1/4-inch Back-Side Illuminated (BSI) Stacked CMOS digital image sensor. Featuring a 1920 x 1080 active-pixel array, this advanced sensor supports linear, enhanced Dynamic Range (eDR), and embedded High Dynamic Range (eHDR with 120dB) modes, offering versatile imaging solutions for various applications.

Designed with Adaptive Local Tuning Mapping (ALTM), the AR0246 enables excellent image quality while reducing the need for costly ISPs. Its 2.0 μm BSI pixel technology delivers exceptional performance in low-light and NIR (Near Infrared) environments.

The AR0246 by onsemi is equipped with advanced capabilities such as Wake On Motion (WOM), Line Interleaved HDR (LI-HDR), eDR, and eHDR, ensuring adaptability and precision in demanding use cases. Evaluation Boards

Uses the high performance 2.0 um backside illuminated (BSI) pixel with eHDR technology from onsemi. The sensor board can be interfaced to the Demo3 Evaluation Board, or with the AP1302 Evaluation Board stacked on Demo3 Evaluation Board. The combined kit uses the popular DevSuite software from onsemi to configure the system. The software provides a comprehensive setup interface and flexibility to evaluate the sensor’s features and capabilities.
