These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days (or per contract with TE) of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. Product drawing(s) are not affected. Size 16 Pin will be identified by tool ID 10 (plating codes 22,44). Size 16 Socket will be identified tool ID 11 (plating code 44) and 12 (plating code 22). Size 20 socket with be identified by tool ID 6 (plating code 44).Reason for Changes:TE hereby inform you of the new stamped and formed capacity tooling to increase manufacturing capacity and footprint to better meet global demands. IMPORTANT: Product from the new tooling are the same as the current tooling and does not impact product performance. Description of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is transferring the following part number(s) from TE approved supplier in California, USA to TE approved supplier in Rhode Island, USA. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this manufacturing location change because our California, USA stamping supplier is closing and transferring the stamping/forming process to their sister company in Rhode Island, USA. The manufacturing location change does not impact connector performance and will be phased in gradually over the next 6-12 months.
