General Product Description: 2.5MM PIN HOUSING, 2-4POS., ASSEMBLY Description of Changes The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is making a change to the manufacturing process of the pin housing used in assembly part number(s) listed below. Previous change communicated through PCN-21-124260 (added wall material thickness) was implemented only for the Asia region tool, while a molding process improvement was implemented for the EMEA tool and helped avoid additional wall material. Product Drawing(s) affected were updated to show the correct thickness for parts manufactured in both regions. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The change is necessary to improve processing during molding. The change does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change(s) are being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use.
