For a marking on the top surface of Wire-wound Ferrite Power Inductors, ink is used. The ink manufacturer noticed us the discontinuation of the ink. Of course, we examined alternative inks. Considering the stability of inductor supply to the customer and stable productivity, we made decision to change the marking method into laser marking.

This part number change helps clarify the target market and equipment in which our products are used and ensures the appropriate products are recommended for their intended applications. There is no change to fit, form, or function with these new part number changes. With this part number change, new standardized rules have been established that will make it easier for our customers to understand and search for part numbers and recommended applications of our products.
