Description for Changes TE Connectivity (TE) is validating a new source. This is a source move only, no part change. Component, CONTACT FINGERS SHIM 4506 10 for the following finish good part numbers will be transferred to a new source for heat treatment process. Previous supplier is not able to continue supplying TE with this process.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you about a new source validation. This validation follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and there is no form-fit-function change of the concerned products, the design of the components will remain the same and all part numbers remain unchanged. The new source operates under a certified quality management system in accordance with standard Aerospace and Defense requirements. The parts will be first article inspected and validated prior to production assembly and before delivery.
