Changes to Location & Production for Specific JW Series RockersType of Change: AppearanceDescription:There will be revisions to the production and manufacture location for JWMW panel seal models of the JW Series. Previously, the lot code on the switch body had a dot mark above the first digit, but now the dot mark will be above the second digit. The shipping box for these switches had CHINA FACTORY on the side, but will be replaced with PHILIPPINES FACTORY. These changes will apply only to the JW Series part numbers listed on the attached SPCN document and sold/shipped by NKK Switches of America.Notes• There are no changes to the switches’ dimensions or specifications.• The location of the Lot Number on switch case may vary depending on the part number.• The size and shape of the Shipping Box may vary depending on the part number.• Current orders for products originating in China Factory (Country of Origin, COO) will not be changing to Philippines Factory.Effective DatesProduction for the change in location will begin May 12, 2026. During this transition period, inventory at NKK North America may include products from both manufacturing locations.

The new epoxy seal will be matte black in color, and the change will include both standard and custom switches.

Changes for epoxy seal on JW, EB, FB, SB, SK and CS Series will be effective September 2025. However, the end of sales date may be subject to change if orders exceed expectations for the specified products.
"I. There will be a revision to the material of the rocker cap and the case/base for JW Series Rocker Switches, the JWMW and JWLW models only. The cap material, formerly polyphenylene ether (PPE), will be revised to polyamide. The case and base material of melamine resin will change to melamine phenol resin.This change will apply to all JWMW and JWLW standard and custom switches.
