The MOC212R2M is a single channel small outline, Transistor output optocoupler. It is ideally suited for high density applications, and eliminate the need for through-the-board mounting.

This device consists of a GaAs infrared emitting diode optically coupled to a monolithic silicon phototransistor detector, in a surface mountable, small outline plastic package.
