Description of Changes: Manufacturing location change. The following part numbers will be transferred from TE s HMO facility in Hermosillo Mexico to a dual-location configuration with manufacturing in either TE s HMO or TE s Penang Malaysia facility. Decisions on manufacturing site will be determined by TE to provide best overall customer experience. For qualification, our processes follow a strict transfer procedure, which ensures no negative influence on quality, ability to supply, and form-fit-function of the concerned products. Note that TE s Penang Malaysia site currently makes products within these same families; so minimal new tools or processes are required. The Penang site is under a certified quality management system according to standard industry requirements. To guarantee performance, an internal release process based on specifications will be executed before any parts will be delivered.Reason for Changes: Transfer of Manufacturing location for overall improvement of on-time delivery and lead-time. This serves a 30 day notice of a manufacturing location change. IF TE does not hear from you within this notice period, TE will consider this as acceptance of the PCN change communicated.
