Allegro MicroSystems ACS37041, ACS37042 Current Sensors
Featuring a compact SOT23-W package
Allegro MicroSystems' ACS37041 and ACS37042 current sensor ICs offer a compact, shuntless solution for accurate and reliable current measurement. Housed in a space-saving SOT23-W package, these fully integrated Hall-effect sensors eliminate the need for external shunt resistors and op-amps—reducing board space, power loss, and overall system complexity.
Both devices feature an integrated low-resistance conductor and use differential Hall sensing to effectively reject common-mode magnetic fields, ensuring high accuracy even in noisy environments. They provide a galvanically isolated analog voltage output proportional to the sensed current, improving safety and simplifying the design of isolated systems.
The ACS37041 offers functional isolation up to 100 VRMS, while the ACS37042 provides basic isolation up to 285 VRMS. Each supports current sensing up to 30 A and delivers consistent performance across the full operating temperature range.
Ideal for motor control, battery management systems, and power supply applications, the ACS37041 and ACS37042 combine performance, reliability, and ease of integration in a single-package design optimized for space-constrained environments.
