Where size and efficiency are critical, the MAX77655 provides a highly-integrated power supply solution for low-power applications. The device features a single-inductor, multiple-output (SIMO) buck-boost regulator that provides four independently programmable power rails from a single inductor to minimize total solution size. The PMIC is capable of delivering a total of 700mA output current (3.7VIN, 1.8VOUT).
The MAX17320 monitors voltage, current, temperature and battery state for over/undervoltage protection in addition to short-circuit, over/undertemperature, overcharge and internal self-discharge conditions.
The MAX20340 is a universal bidirectional DC powerline communication (PLC) management IC featuring a slave detection circuit that flags an interrupt to the system when the PLC master detects the presence of a PLC slave on the powerline. This function allows the system to remain in a low-power state until a slave device is connected.
The MAX17613A series of ICs is the industry's smallest and most robust integrated system protection solution with adjustable input overvoltage protection and adjustable input undervoltage protection. The devices feature programmable current-limit protection up to 3A; hence, controlling the inrush current at startup while charging high capacitance at the output.
The MAX17632 is a high-efficiency, high-voltage, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter with integrated MOSFETs operating over an input-voltage range of 4.5V to 36V. It can deliver up to 2A current. The MAX17632 features peak-current-mode control architecture and can be operated in the forced pulse-width modulation (PWM), or pulse-frequency modulation (PFM), or discontinuous-conduction mode (DCM) to enable high efficiency under full-load and light-load conditions.
