Description:This notification is to advise our customers that Renesas is converting moisture sensitivity classification from MSL3 to MSL1 as part of standardization among UBuffer products. Presently, RC19008A devices are MSL3, while RC19108A devices are MSL1 though the material sets, and package type are the same among all these devices. Further internal qualifications are conducted, and it is confirmed that the MSL3 devices passing MSL1 moisture classification. Therefore, the affected products will be shipped in non-moisture barrier bag (non-dry pack) and labeled as MSL1 following J-STD-020. There is no change to the assembly material sets, peak reflow temperature and assembly process.Reason for Change: To standardize MSL level for all UBuffer products.
