The L6563STR is a 22.5 V transition-mode PFC controller and is available in SOIC-14 package.
This device is suitable for remote ON/OFF control both in systems where the PFC pre-regulator works as a master and in those where it works as a slave.

- Fast “bidirectional” input voltage feedforward (1/V2correction)
- Interface for cascaded converter's PWM controller
- Remote ON/OFF control
- Accurate adjustable output overvoltage protection
- Protection against feedback loop disconnection (latched shutdown)
- Inductor saturation protection
- Low (≤ 100 μA) start-up current
- 6 mA max. operating bias current
- 1% (@ TJ= 25 °C) internal reference voltage
- -600/+800 mA totem pole gate driver with active pull-down during UVLO

- PFC pre-regulators for:
- High-end AC-DC adapter/charger

- IEC61000-3-2 or JEITA-MITI compliant SMPS, in excess of 400 W
