Please note that the assembly PN 282088-1/-3 will continue to be carried out by TE Connectivity. The only change is that TE Connectivity will now incorporate the Housing 282059-1/-3, supplied by a certified external manufacturer, into the assembly process, but TE Connectivity will continue to supply this product to their customersReason for Changes:Dear customer , as result of our continuous strive for improving our process, we hereby inform you about this outsourcing project. Description of Changes: This product change notification (PCN) is to inform you about a change in delivery unit & minimum order quantity (MOQ) impacting PNs listed below in this PCN. As of February 20, 2024 we will increase the delivery unit & the minimum order quantity according to attached file. The order quantity should therefore be not less than the MOQ and should be dividable through the MOQ. Dimensions and material of product and shipping box will stay the same. The change has no impact to form-fit-function. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. Description of ChangesThis Product Change Notification (PCN) is to inform you about a resin supplier base extension for the 4pos, 5pos, and 6pos Plug housing of the mentioned part numbers, which are under the design responsibility of TE Connectivity. This PCN is informational only and no further actions are necessary from your side, as this extension does not have any impact to form, fit or function change. The material itself will remain PA66-GF as stated on the general TE customer drawing. The PN in scope of this PCN is a general sales / catalogue part. Therefore, no contractual agreement related to sub-supplier selection is applicable. VDA 2 Trigger matrix use case 30 and PPAP towards Customer/s are not applicable too. TE Change process follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality and ability to supply. Internal release process is ensured by TE, including product validation.Reason for Changes:Part status change. The supplier base extension is needed to protect our customers and TE Connectivity from material shortages risks and ensure deliveries. Alternative resin/material introduced is a recompound resin (PA66-GF), whose industrial grade quality is under TE control. The TE Connectivity choice is also consistent with the efforts for reducing the C02 content of our products and build a sustainable future. These products with recompound resin have been tested according to the relevant specifications and meet the product specific requirements.
