General Description of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding a manufacturing location in Queretaro, Mexico, and transferring some molding tools and assembly lines from Empalme, Mexico and Tullahoma, TN to the new location.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this tools/assembly lines transfer needed to expand and realign our manufacturing capacity. IMPORTANT: This is a non form fit function change. The manufacturing process at the new manufacturing location will remain the same as the previous one. Parts from any manufacturing location can be used interchangeably in the field. The transfer is being phased in to guarantee undisrupted delivery of parts. Shipments of any locations may be mixed.
General Description of Changes:The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding an alternate material for the part number(s) listed on the attached document. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system, only Level 1 PPAP will be provided. Level 1 PPAP Submission will not occur without request. If Level 1 PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are affected, and 114 application specification will be modified.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. TE is promoting this alternative to create a carbon footprint reduction to improve sustainability of our products. The additional source material is black in color and does not impact performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field.
