This upgrade is being carried out due to the supplier s plan to discontinue the current machines by September 2026, after which no service or spare parts will be available. The change involves only the replacement of the existing hardware with the new generation of equipment; there is no change to the ink formulation. This modification has no impact on the Form, Fit, or Function of the affected part numbers.Reason for Changes:Product improvement.The supplier has implemented this change as part of their continuous process improvement and quality enhancement initiatives. The new equipment is being introduced under a strict validation protocol to ensure there is no impact on product quality, supply capability, or form, fit, and function of the affected components. Furthermore, the upgraded assembly machine will be validated and operated under a certified quality management system, in full compliance with applicable industry standards. General Product Description:In-Line Crimp Splices Sealing Ring Material UpdateDescription of Changes:TE Connectivity has implemented a formulation change to the sealing rings used in the sealing sleeves of the in-line crimp splice part numbers listed below. This modification is introduced as part of the corrective action from NOE-23-23.Reason for Changes:Product improvement. As part of the corrective action form NOE-23-23 the sealing ring polymer formulation has been modified to ensure product improvement and process robustness. All qualification testing has confirmed that the updated material meets the requirements of AS81824, with no impact on product form, fit, function. For detailed information, refer to TE Connectivity Test Reports 501-162115 and 501-162116.

Description of Changes:Manufacturing location change. Following Part Numbers will be transferred from Sorenson Engineering Inc to Lemco Precision SA (this supplier manufactures only the crimps)Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you about a transfer of tools and/or processes. The transfer follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and form-fit-function of the concerned products. The new manufacturing location operates under a certified quality management system in accordance with standard automotive requirements. A TE-internal release test based on the relevant part specifications will be executed before delivery. Upon request, a PPAP Level 2 will be available if it concerns a transfer of a tool which produces a finished TE-product. A PPAP Level 1 will be available if it concerns a component of a TE-product, where the production location of the finished TE-product remains unchanged. If you require such a PPAP, please notify the responsible TE Sales Contact within 14 calendar days after receipt of this PCN
