Description of Change: Implementation of lead-frame taping / de-taping steps to improve the saw-singulation process for the PowerPAK 1212-8S packageReason for Change: Process UpdateExpected Influence on Quality/Reliability/Performance: As part of our continuous improvement program for Automotive MOSFETs we have modified an assembly process step for our PowerPAK 1212-8SW package.•The reason for the change is to improve the matt tin plating coverage on the sidewalls of the device pins.•In the current flow there is a chance for the saw blade to become contaminated and to partially remove some of the sidewall plating material•By adding a leadframe taping step the blade is protected from contamination•After sawing the tape is removed from the leadframe and the assembly process continues as previously defined.•There is no impact on any mechanical dimensions or electrical parameters.•There are no changes to the data sheet or any specificationsTime Schedule: Start Shipment Date: Friday November 21, 2025
