Subject: Qualification of Greatek Electronics Inc. as an Alternate Assembly Site for Select 16-Lead TSSOP PackageDescription of Change: Cypress announces the qualification of Greatek Electronics Inc., Taiwan located at No. 136, Gong-Yi Rd., Zhunan Township, Miaoli County 350, Taiwan, as an alternate assembly site for select Memory products offered in 16-Lead TSSOP package. These products are currently processed at Orient Semiconductor Electronics (OSET) of Cypress subcontractor in Taiwan, Amkor Philippines (ATP) of Cypress subcontractor in Philippines and IFX Cypress Manufacturing Limited (CML) in Philippines. Greatek is certified by international quality and safety standards, namely, ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 26262. These certificates, along with their Sony Green Partnership certificate, can be viewed on their corporate web site: http://www.greatek.com.tw/ BOM Comparison: The 16-Lead TSSOP package will be assembled at Greatek using an industry standard set of Bill of Materials (BOM). Please see table below for a comparison of BOM between Greatek and other assembly sites. Approximate Implementation Date: Effective immediately upon customer approval, or 90 days from the date of this notification, whichever comes first, shipments on part numbers in the attached file will be primarily sourced from Greatek. Anticipated Impact: Products assembled at Greatek are completely compatible with existing products from form, fit, functional, parametric and quality performance perspectives. Cypress also recommends that customers take this opportunity to review this change against current application notes, system design considerations and customer environment conditions to assess impact (if any) to their application.
Addendum to PIN195102 - Manufacturing Label and Packing Configuration Standardization Description of Change: The purpose of this addendum is to correct the date from January 20, 2019 to January 20, 2020, in the "3rd paragraph in the 'Description of Change' section. This notification is to inform customers that Cypress will be standardizing its manufacturing labels and tray/tube packing configuration. It may be recalled that the Cypress entity consolidation (following the merger with Spansion Corp) was announced via Product Information Notification PIN174801 in November 2017. As the next phase of the entity consolidation process, Cypress will be adapting a new manufacturing label format for all products and revising shipping configurations for select product shipped in trays and tubes.

Features & Applications
The CY22393, CY22394, and CY22395 are a family of parts designed as upgrades to the existing CY22392 device. These parts have similar performance to the CY22392, but provide advanced features to meet the needs of more demanding applications. The clock family has three PLLs which, when combined with the reference, allow up to four independent frequencies to be output on up to six pins. These three PLLs are completely programmable.
Benefits:generates up to three unique frequencies on up to six outputs from an external source; allows for 0 ppm frequency generation and frequency conversion in the most demanding applications; improves frequency accuracy over temperature, age, process, and initial ppm offset; nonvolatile programming enables easy customization, ultra-fast turnaround, performance tweaking, design timing margin testing, inventory control, lower part count, and more secure product supply. In addition, any part in the family can be programmed multiple times, which reduces programming errors and provides an easy upgrade path for existing designs; in-house programming of samples and prototype quantities is available using the CY3672 FTG Development Kit. Production quantities are available through Cypress Semiconductor’s value-added distribution partners or by using third-party programmers from BP Microsystems, HiLo Systems, and others; performance suitable for high-end multimedia, communications, industrial, A/D converters, and consumer applications; supports numerous low power application schemes and reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) by allowing unused outputs to be turned off. 3-bit external frequency select options for PLL1, CLKA, and CLKB; industry standard packaging saves on board space; Easy to use software support for design entry;I2C interface allows in-system programming into volatile configuration memory. All frequency settings can be changed, providing literally millions of frequency options.
