General Product Description:Raw Material Manufacturing Location Change ZHTMDescription of ChangesThis notice informs you that a supplier has changed manufacturing location for a raw material that is used in the manufacture of our ZHTM heat shrinkable Zerohalogen Low Fire Hazard tubing. We have already evaluated and released this same change to some of our Wire and Cable jacket materials.Reason for Changes:Product improvement. This is a raw material location change only. There is no change to the raw material formulation or material chemistry, and no change in production process. Therefore, there is no change to fit, form and function, and TE does not need to reformulate our finished product. However, we need to do the due diligence on the incoming raw material. We have almost completed manufacturing trials and product evaluation and will do First Article Inspection on the first production runs. Product is and remains compliant under RW-2058 and RT-1157 TE specification and retains VG95343 Part 5 Type L and BS 4G-198 Part 3 Type 15 qualification. Once the trials and evaluation are completed, we will be releasing the product.
