The MCP7940M-I/P is a Low-Cost I2C Real-Time Clock/Calender with 64 bytes of SRAM, available in through hole PDIP-14 package.
The Real-Time Clocks uses digital timing compensation for an accurate clock/calendar and a a programmable output control for versatility.
