Eaton DRA and DRAP Automotive Grade Shielded Inductors

Magnetically shielded for low EMI

Eaton’s DRA and DRAP automotive grade shielded inductors are designed to meet automotive electronics power and thermal handling requirements. These advanced inductor lines are magnetically shielded for low EMI and can be configured in many inductor topologies with good thermal dissipation characteristics and superior mechanical strength.

DRA and DRAP inductors offer low DCR, exceptionally low core loss, and more current capability at higher inductances. The DRAP line is suitable for automotive applications beyond AEC-Q200 standards and rated for 30 G. DRAP inductors offer 4 terminal solutions for enhanced reliability.

Eaton’s DRA line is available in 12.5 x 12.5 x (4.5, 6.0, and 8.0) mm and 7.6 x 7.6 x (3.55 and 4.35) mm SMT packaging. The DRAP line is available in 12.5 x 12.5 x (4.6, 6.1, and 8.1) mm SMT packaging.

DRA and DRAP inductors are AEC-Q200 Automotive Grade 1 compliant to perform at high operating temperatures of up to +165 °C.
