Subject: Notice of Escape 24-037 ? Follow UpThis letter is a follow-up to our Notice of Escape memo 24-037 regarding 83536/6106, M83726, and M83725 products with Cage Codes SX916 and 1263Y. While the issues have been resolved, this notice generated several questions, which are addressed in attached document.
Description: During a routine internal audit of TE's joint venture (?JV?) partner, TE Connectivity (?TE?) identified several gaps related to MIL-Spec Group A test requirements and vendor qualification. As part of TE?s policy when gaps in MIL-Spec compliance occur, we are sending customers this notice of escape (NOE) on MIL-PRF 83536 (date code range 1802-2450), MIL-DTL-83725 (date code range 1502-2448), and MIL-PRF-83726 (date code range 1830-2450). The cage code for affected product is 1263Y. Despite issuing this NOE, TE Connectivity (TE) has high confidence that the form, fit, and function of product in the field should not be negatively impacted. This confidence is based on the fact that TE has seen no customer complaints or failure trends in regular QPL maintenance testing of these MIL-Spec parts associated to the NOE. TE has tested product with high levels of success. Our records indicate that your company has purchased affected parts. Please see Appendix A (attached) for a list of affected part numbers.
