Description of Changes: Manufacturing location changeThe TE approved supplier for the AMPSEAL 16 wire (mat) seals currently molds those seals in the United States. This same supplier also molds the peripheral seals as well but at their China manufacturing facility where the mold was built. The supplier is planning to move the wire seal molds to their China manufacturing facility. The supplier built the wire seal molds in the US with ultimate plans to move the tooling to China where their primary manufacturing facility is located. By having the wire seal tools and the peripheral seal tools at the same manufacturing facility, stricter process and quality controls will become more efficient.
