The R-78HB5.0-0.5L is a part of R-78HBxx-Series high input voltage switching regulators. Due to its 96% effeciancy a very little energy is wasted, which means cost effective and no need of external devices such as heat sink, their additional space and mounting costs.

It has a Opertaing temprature ranging between -40°C to +85°C, Its input voltage ranges upto 8:1 is unsurpassed by any other converter and allows the full stored energy utilisation of standard and high voltage batteries.Low ripple and noise figures and a short circuit input current of typically only 15mA round off the specifications of this versatile converter series.
