The FM Connector is a miniature connector with a thickness of only 3.0 mm (.118”) which was developed to connect flexible flat cable (FFC) with a lead pitch of 1.0 mm (.039”) to printed circuit boards. This connector family has no complicated cam or slide mechanism. With highly resilient Phosphor bronze contacts these connector have 2 independent mating spring members that simultaneously mate with both sides of the FFC or FPC. This structure allows engineers to have greater design flexibility.
