Description of ChangesFollowing Part Numbers will be validated to have dual source for plating process for TE Connectivity in Kauffman Road and another Outside Vendor or other TE facility.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, as a result of our continuous strive for improving our processes, we hereby inform you about a dual source validation for plating process. The validation is executed by following a strict procedure, which guarantees no negative influence on quality, ability to supply and form-fit-function of the concerned products. The new manufacturing location is under a certified quality management system according to standard industry requirements. An internal release based on our specifications will be executed before any parts will be delivered, which guarantees the performance.
Description of Changes:Manufacturing location change. TE Connectivity (TE) is validating a second source. This is an additional plating facility for added plating capacities only, no part change. This change notification applies to the Pin Contact, Size 24, used in the following part numbers. This change will not affect form, fit or function in any way.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you about the additional plating facility for added plating capacities as current supplier is having capacity and lead time issues. The additional location follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and form-fit-function of the concerned products. The new manufacturing location is under a certified quality management system according to industry standard requirements. An internal evaluation and first article based on our specifications will be executed before any parts will be delivered.
