General Product Description:DEUTSCH Size 12 SF Socket Terminal New Capacity Tooling, ID 3Description of ChangesThe Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is adding new capacity tooling for DEUTSCH size 12 stamped & formed socket terminal at our existing supplier in York, PA (USA) for the part number(s) listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are not affected. Socket will be identified by a tool ID 3. See attached.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The new capacity tooling is necessary because of increase production demands. The added tool does not impact terminal or connector performance. IMPORTANT: No fit, form, or function change. Terminals off the new tool are identical to current production. Shipments from current and new tooling configurations may be mixed.

If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this manufacturing location change because our California, USA stamping supplier is closing and transferring the stamping/forming process to their sister company in Rhode Island, USA. The manufacturing location change does not impact connector performance and will be phased in gradually over the next 3-12 months.
