Description:In relation to the previous PCN?s (Product Change Notifications) that Littelfuse provided regarding their Reed Switch line at the Matamoros Plant (MA3), we would like to inform you that littelfuse will complete the transfer of the Reed Switch Production lines from MA3 to Philippines Plant (PH1). The PH1 Plant has been manufacturing and delivering the MDRR-DT and MDSM-DT series for two years. The DRS-DTH series will also be transferred to the PH1 Plant. There is no difference in the form, fit, or functionality.In this regard, the MA3 reed switch line will EOL (End Of Life) on March 30, 2026 and from April 1, 2026, the PH1 Plant will support 100% of the requirements for MDRR-DT and MDSM-DT series. The DRS-DTH series will go through qualification process and the projected production date is on late Q2 or early Q3 2026 period.

Littelfuse would like to notify of the upcoming CHANGES on MDRR-DT Reed Switch (Sensitivity/Pull-In Range: 10-20 AT) per below details: Current: Production Plant: Matamoros, Mexico Manual Assembly Production LineBox Bulk PackagingBox Dimension (CM): L x W x H: 12.6 x 5.8 x 5.32Packing Quantity: 1,000pcs/boxNew:Production Plant: Philippines PlantAutomated Assembly Production LineBox with Plastic Tray PackagingBox Dimension (CM): L x W x H: 22.8 x8 x 8Packing Quantity: 1,000pcs/box = 50pcs/tray x 20 tray /box.One more empty tray as buffer cover on top of tray stack.There will be no change in form, fit and function of the Reed Switch. Qualification report and samples are available upon request from November 13th, 2023.These changes will take effect starting February 12th, 2024. Orders of the affected part numbers coming out of Matamoros plant will be accepted until December 13th, 2023. During this transition period from February 12th to September 30th, 2024, customers are expected to receive current and new packing products from both MA3 and PH1 plants until current product inventory in Littelfuse warehouse, and Distribution channels are depleted. Other Sensitivity/Pull-In Range from 20 to 35 AT will remain no change until further notice.
