The transfer follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and form-fit-function of the concerned products. The new manufacturing location operates under a certified quality management system in accordance with standard automotive requirements. A TE-internal release test based on the relevant part specifications will be executed before delivery. Upon request, a PPAP Level 2 will be available if it concerns a transfer of a tool which produces a finished TE-product. A PPAP Level 1 will be available if it concerns a component of a TE-product, where the production location of the finished TE-product remains unchanged.

These PNs are customer restricted designs and require customer approval before shipment. Please provide us with your immediate approval to prevent shipment delays. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Product drawing(s) are not affected.Reason for Changes:Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. The new tooling is necessary to exchange the old tool with new tool to guarantee the product quality as expected. The added tooling does not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: No fit, form or function change. Parts off the new tool are identical to current production. Shipments from current and new tooling configurations may be mixed.

The transfer follows a strict procedure, which fully maintains quality, ability to supply and form-fit-function of the concerned products, including internal release and product validation as per OEM/CAM requirements, where applicable. The new manufacturing location operates under a certified quality management system in accordance with defined requirements. PPAP/PSW will be prepared (as per agreements between the two parties, including the negotiated TE trigger matrix), a request via ePPAP (via www.te.com or request to TE Sales representative) needs to be initiated by Customer within 2 weeks after receiving of this PCN. In case no request is obtained till above mentioned date, PPAP/PSW will be considered as approved and the change is considered as fully released.
