Renesas RA4T1 & RA6T3 Microcontrollers (MCUs)

RA4 Series 100MHz and RA6 Series 200MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 Motor Control Microcontrollers

The RA4T1 is based on the 100 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with TrustZone®.

The RA4T1 group offers an optimized peripheral for motor control and inverter control functions with small 32-pin QFN and LQFP package options. These satisfy the needs of high-performance, cost-sensitive and space-constrained applications.

The RA4T1 integrates a wide range of communication interfaces, including CAN FD, I3C, SCI and SPI, covering all the connectivity needs of a wide range of motor control and consumer applications.

The RA6T3 group is the third microcontroller for motor control in the RA6 series, designed for an optimum balance of peripheral functions and cost suitable for motor control, based on the 200 MHz Arm® Cortex®-M33 core with TrustZone®.

The RA6T3 is pin and function compatible with the RA4T1 group and can be seamlessly upgraded, making it an ideal solution for motor control and inverter control applications requiring higher performance.

Software Package

Users can select the MPU suitable for their products from Renesas' MPU lineup that is developed based on similar hardware (H/W) architecture.

Also, users can use the compatible software platform between Renesas MPU and MCU to utilize existing software S/W assets and easily scale their product development.

Tools and Support

The e² studio IDE provides support with intuitive configurators and intelligent code generation to make programming and debugging easier and faster.

The MCK-RA4T1 or MCK-RA6T3 is a development kit that enables easy evaluation of motor control using permanent magnet synchronous motors (brushless DC motors).

With this product and the sample code and QE for Motor that can be downloaded from the website, you can start evaluating motor control using the RA4T1 or RA6T3 right away.
