Microchip SAM-IoT WG and AVR-BLE Development Boards help you get from concept to design to implementation easily and efficiently. With the ease of Microchip development tools that work seamlessly with the PIC®, AVR® and SAM microcontrollers (MCUs), SAM microprocessors (MPUs) and dsPIC® Digital Signal Controllers (DSCs), you can choose from a wide array of development boards such as the SAM-IoT and AVR-BLE. They support various Microchip architectures, devices and technologies.

Microchip SAM-IoT WG Development Board (EV75S95A)

Quickly and easily connect your embedded application to Google’s Cloud IoT core platform

The Microchip SAM-IoT WG Development Board (EV75S95A) features the SAMD21G18 Arm® Cortex®-M0+ based 32-bit microcontroller (MCU), an ATECC608A CryptoAuthentication™ secure element IC and the fully certified ATWINC1510 Wi-Fi® network controller.

The SAM-IoT WG Development Board features an on-board debugger that allows you to program and debug the MCU without any additional hardware. Use the mikroBUS™ sockets to expand your design with your choice of MikroElekronika click Boards™. The Microchip SAM-IoT WG development board is a small and easily expandable demonstration and development platform for IoT solutions.

The Microchip MCU comes preloaded with firmware that enables you to quickly connect and send data to the Google Cloud Platform using the on-board temperature and light sensors. Once you are ready to build your own custom design, you can easily generate code using the free software libraries in MPLAB Harmony v3. The SAM-IoT WG Development Board is supported by MPLAB® X IDE.

Microchip AVR-BLE Development Board (DT100111)

The AVR-BLE development board makes eXtreme Low Power (XLP) wireless applications development quick and easy. Featuring a powerful AVR ATmega3208 microcontroller, an ATECC608A CryptoAuthentication™ secure element and the RN4870 Bluetooth Low Energy Module, the board USB interface provides a convenient serial port (virtual UART) and the simplicity of drag and drop programming. The AVR-BLE Development Board (DT100111) also features full programmer and debugger capabilities supported by two award-winning Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) - Atmel Studio and Microchip MPLAB® X IDE - giving you the freedom to innovate with your environment of choice.

Connect the AVR-BLE development board to your Bluetooth LE capable mobile phone or tablet using the LightBlue® app (iOS and Android versions available) to activate the exclusive graphical user interface and interact with all the boards sensors and features.
