General Product Description: DEUTSCH DTM Plug & Receptacle Process Change Description of Changes The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is making a change to the molding process from using pre-colored resin to color at the pressresin. This change is applicable to all North American manufacturing locations. The affected part numbers are listed below. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, thereforeconsidered catalog/general market product. PPAP and/or sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system.Submission will not occur without request. If PPAP requested, disposition response is required within 14 days of submit date or it will be considered approved. Productdrawings are not affected. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we hereby inform you of this change. TE is promoting this alternative to have greater flexibility in the production process and reduce exposure to materialshortages. The natural resin is the same as the pre-colored resin with V-0 rating. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably inthe field. The change is being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed.
