NRND Notice regarding all TAIYO YUDEN previous part numbers.TAIYO YUDEN (U.S.A.) Inc. had previously implemented a new part numbering system for differentiating the market and equipment our products are used in, ensuring the appropriate products are recommended for their intended applications. With the new part numbers, there was no change to fit, form, or function. To help transition our customers and guide them to using these new part numbers, TAIYO YUDEN (U.S.A.) Inc. will be implementing the following schedule regarding all previous part numbers. This change affects all TAIYO YUDEN part numbers using the previous part numbering system, including web parts, non-web parts, and customer limited parts. 4/1/2023: All previous part numbers will become NRND (Not Recommended for New Design) 4/1/2024: All previous part numbers will switch from NRND to End of Life (EOL). A detailed EOL notice will be issued for this change in early 2024. 3/31/2025: The Last Time Buy (LTB) for all previous part numbers will end and all orders will need to be placed using the new part numbers. This NRND notice applies to all TAIYO YUDEN part numbers using the previous part numbering system, regardless if listed in the UTY-NRND23-01D part list or not. Any parts that have already been previously discontinued should follow any prior notices. Please refer to the following documents for more information on these changes. TAIYO YUDEN has implemented changes to its part numbers. This part number change helps clarify the target market and equipment in which our products are used and ensures the appropriate products are recommended for their intended applications. There is no change to fit, form, or function with these new part number changes. With this part number change, new standardized rules have been established that will make it easier for our customers to understand and search for part numbers and recommended applications of our products.
