Description of Changes:The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is moving production of the PNs listed below from TE Hemet/CA-USA to TE Tullahoma/TN-USA in addition to the move from TE Hemet/CA-USA to TE Empalme/MX. Shipping point will change from Ontario, CA-USA to NCDC in Greensboro, NC for parts manufactured in TE Tullahoma and Hermosillo, MX for parts manufactured in TE Empalme. These PNs are TE proprietary designs and considered general market product. TE reserves the right in the future to move tool to a TE ICT Manufacturing location and/or a TE externally approved supplier as needed. In case of subsequent tool transfer, PCN will be sent to notify but will have zero day wait period. PPAP and sample requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via firstname.lastname@example.org or TE e-PPAP system. Submissions will not occur without request. Reason for Changes: This move, combined with TE Empalme/Mexico production capabilities announced with PCN E-19-014361, allows TE dual-sourcing capabilities to better serve demand requirements and strive alignment and overall manufacturing capacity and footprint to better meet our Customer's needs. IMPORTANT: The change will not impact fit, form or function.
Description of Changes:The Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is transferring component(s) of the part number(s) from TE Hemet/CA-USA to TE Tullahoma/TN-USA. These PNs are TE proprietary designs, therefore considered catalog/general market product. Tools that manufacture parts within this PCN are identified as "swing tool" and TE reserves the right in future to move tool to a TE ICT Manufacturing location and/or a TE externally approved supplier as needed. In case of subsequent transfer of swing tool, PCN will be sent to notify but will have a zero day wait period.Reason for Changes: This change is necessary for alignment of overall manufacturing capacity and footprint to better meet our Customer's needs. The change will not impact connector performance. IMPORTANT: The current and previous revisions of these parts can be used interchangeably in the field. The change(s) are being phased in gradually and previous revision can remain stocked until use. Shipments of both configurations may be mixed
Description of Changes The Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit of TE Connectivity (TEC) intends to temporarily swing molding of components that are used in the part number(s) listed below from ICT-Empalme, Sonora (MX) campus to an approved external TE supplier . We hereby reserve the right to swing the tools back to ICT-Empalme, Sonora (MX) campus as business needs shall require this. Final assembly of the connectors will remain in ICT-Empalme, Sonora (MX) campus. This PCN is in effect indefinitely. Reason for Changes: Dear Customer, we inform you of this move of injection molding as part of our aggressive continuous improvement efforts and to meet on time product shipments. An internal release based on our specifications will be executed before any parts are delivered. Level 3 PPAP packages by product family will be offered upon customer request.
