onsemi’s ecoSpin™ family of motor controller products includes the ECS640A, a 600 V three-phase brushless dc (BLDC) motor controller with an embedded gate driver. This newest addition to the ecoSpinTM family integrates an optimized ultra-low power Arm Cortex-MI+ microcontroller, three sense amplifiers and a reference amplifier, three bootstrap diodes, and a high-voltage gate−driver especially made for high voltage and speed operations and capable of driving MOSFETs and IGBTs operating up to 600 V.
This device offers a small footprint SiP and a friendly, “easy to use” user environment. Users profit from its ease of adoption, advanced control algorithms, improved reliability, and simplified code and debugging, among many other benefits.
