Product Description:MicroCon connectorGeneral Description of ChangesThis Product Change Notification (PCN) serves to inform you of a manufacturing location transfer and/or a transfer of tools and/or processes. The part numbers will be transferred from TE s Lamphun Plant, Thailand to Tangier marocco. There will be no expected impact on the form, fit, or function of the affected products at this time. The transfer will be conducted in accordance with a strict internal procedure designed to ensure that product quality, supply capability, and form-fit-function remain unaffected. The new manufacturing site operates under a certified quality management system, compliant with recognized industry standards. An internal qualification and release process, based on our specifications, will be completed prior to the shipment of any products from the new location to ensure performance and compliance. As a result of our continuous strive for improving our processes; thorough analysis of demand picture, matching our customer needs, we are going to optimize value stream of part numbers in scope of this PCN. This transfer will support the need of our customers for shorter lead-times and optimized value streams. A TE-internal release test based on the relevant part specifications will be executed before delivery. If you require a PPAP, a request via ePPAP (via www.te.com or request to TE Sales representative) needs to be initiated by Customer. PPAP/PSW will be prepared (as per agreements between the two parties, including the negotiated TE trigger matrix). In case no request is obtained till mentioned date, PPAP/PSW will be considered as approved and the change is considered as fully released.Reason for Changes:Manufacturing Location change First products may start shipment from May 2026 onwards and will depend on the safety stock consumption and production ramp up. To further mitigate any supply risks during the transfer period our TE Distribution partners will be actively supporting to carry buffer stocking for catalogue products.
