Resettable Fuses Raychem Circuit Protection products
Also known as PPTC or Polymer Positive Temperature Coefficient, resettable fuse come in radial, axial or surface mount packages. Key benefits are obviously, the self-resetting function which makes the device transparent to the user as there is no need for replacement. It reduces warranty and service cost and is ideal for remote applications. Key applications include telecom, battery, computing, consumer, medical and automotive.
The AHEF series is ideal to protect HVAC controls in the engine compartment and 24Volts battery automotive applications.
The AHF1000 is a radial leaded resettable automotive fuse. It has an operating voltage of 32 volts and a hold current of 10 amps.
