The FOD420 is a part of FOD420 series triac driver. It has a storage temperature ranging from -55°C to +150°C and its available in DIP-6 package.
The FOD420 devices consist of an infrared emitting diode coupled to a hybrid random phase triac formed with two inverse parallel SCRs which form the triac function capable of driving discrete triacs.
