Product Description: DEUTSCH DT series Plug and Receptacle short cap and long cap change to black General Description of ChangesAs part of our ongoing efforts to reduce carbon footprint, the Industrial and Commercial Transportation business unit of TE Connectivity is standardizing the weld cap color of the Deutsch DT connectors to black (affected part numbers listed below). The standardized black weld caps will seamlessly integrate with the developing design features when new DT colors are added to our connector portfolio. This ensures a cohesive product with consistent aesthetics across the product line. These PNs are TE proprietary designs and, therefore, considered catalog/general market products. Level 4 PPAP requests must be submitted within 14 days of PCN submission via ict-ppap-request@te.com or ePPAP system. Submission will only occur with a request. Because all of the components are currently used in production, no samples are planned to be supplied because the change is entirely cosmetic, as a result, level 4 PPAP (PSW only) will be provided when requested, and disposition response is required within 14 days of the submit date or it will be considered approved.
