Microchip

Are you prepared for the next wave of AI?

Are you ready to move away from the status quo and start adding AI into your next product?

Edge AI is the hot ticket in 2021 as it will drive innovation across many industries. Gain additional insight and product solutions by learning more about the Future Electronics newly released Northern Lights platform. Live on the Edge with Northern Lights!

Northern Lights is a Future Electronics created platform showcasing multiple Microchip solutions targeting intelligent machine vision and motor control applications. This versatile platform is one of many engineering demonstrations designed and tested by our very own engineers. Target markets include industrial, defense, automotive and more.

This presentation will walk you through:

  • Highlights of each board in Northern Lights and the Microchip technologies powering them.
    • A Video Board with a color CMOS image sensor and a low cost, low power FPGA
    • A Display Module with a color OLED panel
    • A Motor Control Board with a digital signal controller
  • The process of building, training and evaluating the Northern Lights neural network model
  • A Demo of Northern Lights – Multi-Axis Robotic Arm Responding to Handwritten Digits

You will hear from:

  • Texas: Ed Baca and Tim Dicke
  • Bolton/Connecticut: JP Marcelino and Tim Dicke
  • San Jose/Sacramento: Bill Pratt
  • Toronto/Montreal: JP Marcelino and Tim Dicke
