DESCRIPTION OF CHANGE SK keyfoundry Fab3 has discontinued their 0.5m wafer process technologies. To ensure continuity of supply, Diodes Incorporated has qualified additional wafer source SK keyfoundry (SKKF) Fab4 located in Cheongju, South Korea. This PCN is being issued to notify customers of the aforementioned change. For some products currently produced in SKKF Fab3, a die shrink has been made from 0.5 m CMOS to 0.35 m CMOS at SKKF Fab4. Top markings will be updated for all products as outlined on the attached SPCN document. External wafer source SKKF (Fab4) located in Cheongju, South Korea Diodes internal A/T site (CAT) in Chengdu, China External AT site JCET Group Co., Ltd. (JCET) located in Suqian, China Full electrical characterization and high reliability testing has been completed on representative part numbers to ensure there is no change to device functionality or electrical specifications in the datasheet. Diodes internal wafer source in South Portland (SPFAB), Maine, USA.? External wafer source Key Foundry Fab 4 (KF4) in Cheongju, South Korea.? External wafer source Macronix International Co., Ltd. (MXIC), in Hsinchu, Taiwan. ? Diodes internal AT site (PCL) in Taoyuan City, Taiwan.The hermetic sealing process for the lid will change from a AuSn process in Faith Long AT to a Kovar process in PCL as described in Table 3A.
